SCHOOL STREET MURAL
*To be installed May 2025*My application was successful in the bid to win this project in the autumn of 2024. Working with the Roads and Parks department of the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district office in Berlin, I developed this concept in line with their brief, using shapes and a limited colour palette to create a bright design that lets you know you are entering a school street. This will be applied to the entrances of the street using asphalt foil in May 2025, and the street will become a pedestrian zone, promoting a model of sustainability and safety. This is a pilot project, that will hopefully be used throughout Berlin on school streets in the years to come.
